Contact & Conditions

We are in a rural area that has slow and often intermittent broadband, so some emails often don’t arrive here, and some that we’ve sent don’t arrive with you.  If you haven’t had a reply from us, please accept our apologies and re-send.

CONTACT – Mick & Tracy Tanski

E-MAIL – micktanski@gmail.com
We always reply to emails – but if you don’t receive a reply within a day or so, please re-send your email, it’s probably gone into the wrong folder…

PHONE – 07915 719 242 (International callers dial +44 7915 719 242) – West Wales mobile signal is sketchy, but Whatsapp or Messenger voice calls seem to quite reliable – no video calls please, I’m not pretty and don’t really dress well for work 🙂
There is always someone here, but occasionally we are unable to answer. If this happens, please wait a little while and call again.  The best time to contact us is on a weekday, before midday.

WHATSAPP – 07915 719 242

ADDRESS –
Ferriday Engineering
Bwthyn Blaen Pant
Cwmduad
Carmarthen
SA33 6AX.

LOCATION – We are based in West Wales, near Carmarthen, up in the hills above the Teifi Valley, a beautiful location but quite isolated.  We are rarely able to accept visitors – we hope this doesn’t sound too anti-social… but all of our time is needed for machining.

RETURNS POLICY & CONDITIONS OF TRADE – All items sold by Ferriday Engineering are non-standard components for use in modified engines where original settings & operating conditions no longer apply.  It is the responsibility of the fitter to satisfy himself that these components are suitable for his particular application. Ferriday Engineering has no control over the use of this component & accepts no responsibility whatsoever for the performance of this component in its new & unknown environment.  If the fitter suspects that this component is not suitable for the application then it should be returned for an immediate refund (a refund will not be offered for any special order items – please note that nearly all goods are made to order i.e. special orders).

Most products are made for extreme or obsolete applications where there is no alternative product.  This means that all products will continue to be classed as “Experimental” – this classification will probably also apply to the rest of the engine i.e., a non-standard “hybrid” that far exceeds the OE manufacturers expectations & design criteria, or an obsolete engine where OE parts are no longer available.

Mick Tanski has over 38 years experience of engine machining, assembly & modification, and will always offer advice to the best of his ability.  We are always happy to discuss different possibilities, and will never knowingly supply something that is unsuitable unless the customer absolutely insists (!!).  We will always advise if there is a more user-friendly (and possibly cheaper) alternative to our products.  Our objective is to help provide a satisfactory solution to your engineering problem, but ultimately, the decision to use a component lies solely with the customer.
